Val Mace-Mapa

Val is the daughter of Max and Lucy. She started traveling on the Heritage Singers bus

when she was only 9 years old.

Soon after, she was asked to sing her first solo "Sweet Jesus" during a concert.

At 12, she began singing full time.

Val recorded her first solo album "Dreamer" when she was 17 years old.

Her distinctive soprano voice is known all over the world as the basis for the

Heritage sound.

Val and Art got married in

August of 1991.

Art is also very much involved in this ministry.

Arranger, producer and programmer, he's been involved in most of the Heritage projects since the latter part of the 80's.

Val wanted to put out a Lullaby CD that talked about Jesus, love and family. Before Val had a child of her own,
she recorded "Lullaby of Heaven".

In June of 1995, they had a new addition to the family. Austin was born.
Although he was born with
a rare condition called T-E Fistula
which required immediate surgery and countless follow-ups,
God worked many miracles in his life, and we praise Him for that.
Austin has been completely healed!

Val had no idea that her CD "Lullaby Of Heaven" would play a special role in Austin's life. When he was born, he spent a lot of time in the NICU. Right after his birth, the nurses would play Val's Lullaby CD for him in his crib.

Austin is now 13 years old,

He loves playing soccer, swimming, playing with his dog Scout and video games.

But most of all,

he loves Jesus with all his heart.

They continue to grow spiritually,

and as a family.

Val enjoys spending time with her boys and going to tea with her girlfriends.
